Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Performance Management Lead to join our dynamic team working on major Oil & Gas Projects across the MENAT region. This is a rotational position, requiring the successful candidate to travel frequently between various project sites within the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. The Performance Management Lead will be responsible for overseeing the performance of operations, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This role plays a key part in optimizing project performance and aligning operational targets with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the performance management activities for large-scale oil & gas projects within the MENAT region, ensuring project milestones and objectives are achieved.
• Develop and implement performance tracking systems, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to measure and analyze project efficiency and success.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership teams to identify performance gaps and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Facilitate regular performance review meetings with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to ensure performance targets are met on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource optimization and resolve any issues impacting project performance.
• Lead performance audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior performance management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Proven experience (8+ years) in performance management, operations, or project management within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of performance management techniques, KPIs, and operational efficiency optimization.
• Experience working in rotational positions and managing projects across multiple international sites, especially in the MENAT region.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to oil & gas operations.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in performance management, project operations, or leadership roles within the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in a rotational capacity.
• Previous experience working on large-scale oil & gas projects in the MENAT region is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully managing project performance, resolving operational issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Working Hours

• This is a rotational position, typically involving 6-8 weeks at project sites followed by 2-4 weeks of off-time (subject to project demands).
• Flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate the project schedules and international time zones.
