Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join Amazons team. This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of stock and ensuring the highest quality management standards are upheld. You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of inventory, from stock receiving to stock auditing and quality control. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring that inventory levels are accurate, operational processes run smoothly, and quality standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability, addressing discrepancies swiftly.
  • Perform regular stock audits and cycle counts to identify variances and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Ensure that all incoming and outgoing stock is inspected for quality, quantity, and condition.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to identify areas for improvement in stock management, organization, and quality assurance.
  • Analyze inventory trends and prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve inventory-related issues, ensuring timely deliveries and quality consistency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Provide support in the development of training materials for inventory management best practices.
  • Address customer concerns regarding inventory discrepancies or quality issues promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of stock and quality management procedures.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, stock management, or quality assurance, preferably in a retail, e-commerce, or warehouse environment.
  • Experience with stock auditing and inventory reporting is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard business hours with flexibility for shift work or overtime during peak seasons, as required.
