Job Summary
Amazon is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Vendor Consultant to join our team in India. The role involves collaborating with vendors to enhance their performance, optimize their operations, and grow their businesses on the Amazon platform. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned vendors, providing support and guidance to improve their performance metrics.
- Analyze vendor performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to vendors on optimizing pricing, inventory, and operational processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve vendor issues and streamline processes.
- Conduct regular business reviews with vendors, sharing updates on performance metrics and actionable insights.
- Support vendors in implementing best practices for enhancing their presence and sales on Amazons platform.
- Drive vendor satisfaction and retention by building strong relationships and ensuring prompt resolution of queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vendor management, account management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in vendor management, account management, or e-commerce operations.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketplaces is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with flexible working hours, including occasional weekend or evening support depending on business needs.
