Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets within established timeframes.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose IT issues, escalating complex problems to senior staff as necessary.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and systems.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to IT support procedures and system configurations.
  • Set up and configure new hardware and software for employees.
  • Assist with user account management, including setting up new users and managing access rights.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve system performance and resolve ongoing issues.
  • Provide training and support for end users, ensuring they can effectively use IT resources.
  • Participate in IT projects as needed, contributing to system upgrades or implementations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, and Linux) and office software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Experience:

  • No prior experience is required, though any hands-on experience or internships in IT support will be considered a plus.
  • Experience with customer service or technical support is beneficial but not necessary.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Occasional after-hours support may be required depending on project needs or emergencies.
