Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our growing team. This role is open to Malaysian candidates passionate about ensuring organizational adherence to regulatory and ethical standards. The Compliance Officer will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs to minimize risk and uphold the highest standards of integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the organizations compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including legal and financial compliance.
• Conduct regular compliance audits, assessments, and risk analyses.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and other external compliance stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice to management and employees on compliance-related matters.
• Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification in compliance management (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian regulatory frameworks and international compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and external parties.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a compliance-related role.
• Prior experience in sectors such as banking, finance, or corporate governance is preferred.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible working arrangements available).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management tools.
• Strong ethical judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
• Capacity to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
