HR Service Jobs is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Power BI Reports and Dashboards: Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and efficient reports and dashboards that align with business requirements.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement efficient data models to facilitate high-quality reports.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, etc.) into Power BI to create comprehensive datasets.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and end-users to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate BI solutions.
• Optimization and Performance Tuning: Ensure reports and dashboards are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure smooth operations.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data trends.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation for all Power BI solutions, ensuring that others can understand and support the systems you build.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer: At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI: In-depth knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• SQL Knowledge: Strong SQL skills for querying databases and integrating data sources into Power BI.
• Data Visualization Skills: Expertise in creating clear, actionable, and visually engaging reports and dashboards.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify issues in data and reporting systems and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and report generation.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Power BI development, with a strong portfolio of developed dashboards and reports.
• Hands-on experience in data integration and modeling for Power BI solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, data extraction, and transformation processes.
• Experience with DAX and Power Query for creating advanced calculations and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services such as Power BI Service and integration with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).

Working Hours

• This is a work-from-home (WFH) position, allowing flexibility in working hours.
• Standard working hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with flexibility), Monday to Friday.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on project deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Power BI Expertise: Strong ability to use Power BI tools to develop complex reports and dashboards.
• SQL & Data Analysis: Proficiency in querying and manipulating data with SQL to support Power BI reports.
• DAX & Power Query Skills: Expertise in writing DAX formulas for data manipulation and utilizing Power Query for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and techniques in the BI space.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in creating accurate and reliable data visualizations.
• Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
