Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Online Tutor to provide high-quality lessons to CBSE Class 6 students in Computer Science and Science. The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging, effective, and tailored lessons to help students understand key concepts in these subjects, supporting them through their academic journey and fostering a love for learning. This is a remote, part-time position that offers flexibility and the chance to work with students from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons in Computer Science and Science to CBSE Class 6 students.
• Prepare and customize lesson plans based on the syllabus and individual student needs.
• Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and feedback.
• Provide clear explanations and guidance on complex topics, ensuring students understanding.
• Offer additional support to students struggling with specific concepts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Science, Education, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum for Class 6 in Computer Science and Science.
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring students at the primary/secondary school level.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply and clearly.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
• Patience and empathy in dealing with students.
• Ability to motivate and engage students to achieve their academic goals.
• A passion for teaching and helping students succeed.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in Computer Science and Science, preferably for CBSE students.
• Experience in conducting online classes is preferred, though not required.

Working Hours:

• Flexible hours, part-time (10-20 hours per week).
• Evening and weekend availability is required to accommodate student schedules.
• Classes are conducted remotely, and scheduling is negotiable based on the tutors availability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in teaching basic Computer Science concepts such as algorithms, programming (Scratch, Python), and an understanding of computer systems.
• Strong understanding of Science concepts related to CBSE Class 6, such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Sciences.
• Ability to manage online classrooms, monitor student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Technologically savvy with a strong command of virtual teaching platforms and digital tools.
• Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
