Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Support Associate to join our team at Home Depot. This position is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, as you will assist with the organization, inventory, and movement of products. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will ensure that our customers receive their products in a timely and accurate manner, helping us to maintain high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the receiving, stocking, and organization of inventory.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Process and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe work environment.
• Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move goods as needed.
• Perform inventory checks and assist in managing stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and accurate processing of orders.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment (training may be provided).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience in operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the stores needs.
• Overtime may be required during peak seasons or special promotions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and practices.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and effectively.
