Job Summary:
Cigna, a global health services company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Advisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Provide guidance and support on company policies, HR best practices, and labor law compliance.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Manage and resolve employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and other HR-related processes.
- Support talent development initiatives by helping managers identify training needs and facilitating employee development programs.
- Work closely with leadership to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Ensure proper documentation of HR-related issues and keep records up to date.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to drive key HR initiatives across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and advising.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Proficient in HR software and tools, including HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources advisory or generalist role.
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Proven track record of successfully advising and supporting employees and managers in HR matters.
- Previous experience in a remote or work-from-home setting is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
- This is a full-time, remote position with flexible working hours.
- You will be required to be available during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend availability for urgent matters.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
