Job Summary:Cigna, a global health services leader, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a Customer Service Representative at Cigna, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support for health-related services. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to Cigna members via phone, email, or online chat.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to their health plans, benefits, claims, and other services.
- Resolve customer issues by identifying problems, researching solutions, and offering clear and effective resolutions.
- Process claims, enrollments, and updates to health insurance policies accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cignas products, services, and healthcare regulations.
- Document interactions and update customer records using Cignas CRM system.
- Ensure that all calls and inquiries are handled with the highest level of professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficient with basic computer systems and software applications (Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in a remote work setting.
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, ideally in the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Experience working with health insurance plans, claims processing, or related services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of healthcare benefits is a plus.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position with flexible scheduling options.
- Shifts available Monday to Friday, with some weekend hours required depending on business needs.
- Flexible remote working hours based on team and customer requirements.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers.
