Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes to meet quality, efficiency, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct process simulations, data analysis, and experiments to scale up laboratory processes to commercial production levels.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to ensure seamless technology transfer from lab to manufacturing scale.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during the production process.
- Design and implement process control strategies and quality assurance protocols.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and process documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure proper operation of manufacturing processes.
- Monitor process performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance yield, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical process development, particularly in process optimization and scale-up.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and their application in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP standards, and other industry-specific guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development or a related field.
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, process optimization, or technology transfer.
- Prior experience with process scale-up and troubleshooting in a regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques used in pharmaceutical process development (e.g., HPLC, FTIR, etc.) is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
