Position: Retail Statistical Analyst – National Retail Chain

Location: Multiple U.S. Locations / Hybrid / Remote Options Available

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–4 Years in Data Analysis, Retail Analytics, or a Related Field

Salary Range: $72,000–$90,000 per year + Benefits + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales, inventory, and customer transaction data to identify trends and growth opportunities
• Build and maintain statistical models for demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and product performance
• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to provide actionable insights
• Conduct customer segmentation analysis to support targeted promotions and loyalty programs
• Create dashboards and reports using BI tools for store managers and senior leadership
• Perform A/B testing and other statistical experiments to evaluate promotional effectiveness
• Ensure data accuracy through validation, cleaning, and quality control processes

Qualifications & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or related quantitative field
• Proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for statistical analysis
• Strong skills in SQL and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Understanding of retail metrics, supply chain data, and customer analytics
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional retail environment
