Job Overview:
We are hiring a New Associate in the Record to Report (R2R) operations team. This is an entry-level opportunity for finance and accounting graduates who are looking to start a career in core accounting functions. The role involves managing and executing financial reporting, month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and issue resolutions
- Handle ad-hoc finance tasks as assigned by supervisors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of financial statements and general accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Flexible to work in shifts (depending on project/client location)
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday
- Internship or project experience in accounting or finance domain
- Understanding of Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), or Order to Cash (O2C) cycles
