Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Well-Being Emotional Support Provider to offer non-clinical emotional support, active listening, and guidance to individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, or personal challenges. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or peer support who are passionate about mental wellness and holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential, empathetic emotional support to individuals via phone, video, or chat
- Use active listening and supportive dialogue to help clients manage stress, grief, loneliness, or life changes
- Recognize signs of mental health crises and escalate appropriately to licensed clinicians or emergency services
- Maintain accurate and timely case records following organizational protocols
- Contribute to wellness initiatives, group sessions, or workshops (if applicable)
- Collaborate with clinical teams, EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs), or wellness coaches as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in emotional support, peer counseling, or wellness coaching
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of empathy, patience, and ethical boundaries
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
- Ability to work in a confidential and judgment-free manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Mental Health First Aid, Peer Support, or Wellness Coaching
- Experience working in call centers, employee wellness programs, schools, or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive communication
- Bilingual abilities are a plus (English + Spanish or other languages)
