Job Overview:
Delhi Metro is recruiting Security Guards and Field Security Staff on a contractual basis for managing safety, crowd control, and public assistance across stations and metro premises. Ideal for 10th or 12th pass candidates seeking a stable government-affiliated opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification:
- 10th Pass / 12th Pass from a recognized board
- Age Limit: 18–35 years (Relaxation for ex-army/police personnel)
- Physical Fitness: Required for standing duty, patrolling, and basic response actions
- Preferred Candidates:
- Ex-servicemen, NCC cadets, or those with security agency experience
- Basic communication in Hindi (English is a plus)
- Must have valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN) and local address verification
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure public safety and smooth flow of passengers at metro stations
- Conduct bag checks, security patrolling, and gate monitoring
- Prevent unauthorized entry and report suspicious activities
- Coordinate with station controllers and metro police for emergency handling
- Assist in queue management and crowd control during peak hours
- Maintain logs, incident records, and report to supervisors daily
Work Conditions:
- Shift-Based Duty: Morning, Evening, and Night shifts on rotation
- Uniform & Training Provided
- Postings across Delhi NCR metro stations or depots
- 8–10 hours/day, 6 days/week with one weekly off
