Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹35,000/month (Based on qualifications & experience)

Job Overview:

Delhi Metro is hiring IT Assistants to support its technical infrastructure, system operations, and administrative computing needs. This role is ideal for Computer Science graduates and diploma holders looking to build a career in IT support within a public sector environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education Qualification:
  • B.Sc IT / BCA / B.Tech (CS/IT) / MCA / Diploma in Computer Engineering (3 Years)
• Experience:
  • Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply
• Skills Required:
  • Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with MS Office, email systems, and data management tools
  • Strong understanding of IT helpdesk protocols and ticketing systems is a plus
• Age Limit: 18–30 years
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support to metro station control rooms, ticketing systems, and admin offices
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices
• Assist in managing local networks, internet connections, and VPN setups
• Coordinate with technical vendors and DMRC IT teams for system upgrades
• Log and resolve hardware/software issues using ticketing tools
• Support in maintaining data backups, logs, and IT inventories

Work Schedule:

• Full-time role, 6 days/week
• On-site posting (Head Office, metro stations, or depots)
• May involve rotational shifts based on operational needs
