As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will serve guests in onboard restaurants, lounges, and buffet areas, delivering high standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in restaurants, bars, lounges, and room service


• Set up and clear tables, restock stations, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas


• Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience through attentive service


• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations onboard


• Assist with buffet setup, food presentation, and event service as required


• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service


• Report guest feedback and resolve minor complaints with professionalism

Qualifications and Requirements

• South African citizenship with a valid passport


• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric); Hospitality or F&B training is an advantage


• Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or cruise ship F&B roles is preferred


• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)


• Ability to work long hours and handle fast-paced environments


• Energetic, presentable, and guest-oriented personality


• Willingness to live and work at sea for 6–9 months


• Must pass medical, criminal, and visa requirements
