In this role, you will be responsible for both sales and technical support, working directly with healthcare professionals, medical institutions, and vendors. Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Drive sales of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic tools, monitoring systems, and surgical devices
- Identify, qualify, and convert leads into sales opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers
- Develop and execute strategies for expanding product lines within target markets
- Present product demonstrations and explain the technical advantages of biomedical equipment to potential clients
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotes, and contracts in alignment with company policies
- Technical Support and Customer Assistance:
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, ensuring clients’ needs are met
- Assist clients with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with biomedical equipment
- Conduct product training for clients, ensuring proper usage and understanding of product features
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide customized solutions and recommendations based on client requirements
- Ensure customer feedback is collected and communicated to improve product development and service offerings
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that sales materials and technical content are accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and technical issues in CRM systems
- Provide market intelligence and insights to the product and business development teams
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, technical support, or customer service in the biomedical or medical device industry
- Strong understanding of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Technical proficiency to troubleshoot and explain complex biomedical systems and products to clients
- Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that address specific technical requirements
- Experience in developing sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and quality standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Bonus: Experience with CRM tools, technical training, or certifications in sales or biomedical engineering
