We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Onsite IT Support Technician to provide hands-on support across our offices and client sites. This role combines office-based and field service responsibilities, ensuring all users and systems run smoothly with minimal downtime.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of hardware, software, and networking fundamentals, and be comfortable interacting directly with end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and common business applications.
- Maintain and support network connectivity and hardware infrastructure.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
- Support users with hardware/software issues and ensure timely ticket resolution.
- Document incidents, solutions, and asset inventory accurately.
- Travel to client locations as required for onsite support and installations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of IT support or helpdesk experience (internships considered).
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft preferred.
