2026 Summer Internship: Supply Chain Area Manager (Field)

Location: Distribution, Fulfillment, or Consolidation Centers across the U.S. (limited availability based on business needs) Compensation: $21.00–$40.00/hour + housing assistance + additional benefits Duration: 11 weeks | Start Date: Summer 2026

About the Program

Join Walmart’s Supply Chain Field Network and help shape the success of the world’s largest supply chain. From moving groceries coast-to-coast to fulfilling online orders directly to customers’ doors, our network keeps communities stocked and running every day.

As an Area Manager Intern, you’ll gain hands-on leadership experience, solve complex challenges, and learn how to manage teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This program is designed to set you on a path toward a full-time career with Walmart.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire a team of hourly associates in a sub-department within our supply chain network.
• Manage daily operations while driving process improvements and removing obstacles for your team.
• Work cross-functionally to solve large-scale supply chain problems.
• Gain exposure to advanced data tools such as Excel, Tableau, Python, and SQL.
• Participate in mentorship opportunities, executive-led sessions, and professional development workshops.
• Contribute to both an individual project and a cross-functional group project aligned with your skills and interests.

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
• Expected graduation between December 2026 – August 2027
• Majors: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
