Job Summary
Goldman Sachs is seeking highly motivated individuals for its Global Investment Research Seasonal/Off-Cycle Internship in Mumbai. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and financial analysis on companies, industries, and global markets.
- Assist in the creation of financial models and reports to support investment recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to gather insights on market trends and key economic factors.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports, and client-facing materials.
- Support the team with ad-hoc research and analysis as required.
- Attend team meetings and participate in discussions on investment strategy and market developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong academic background in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while being able to manage individual tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Experience
- Prior internship experience or coursework related to finance, investment banking, or research is preferred but not required.
- Experience using financial software and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, or Reuters) is a plus.
- Previous exposure to global financial markets is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-time internship (40 hours per week).
- The internship will last for a duration of 10 to 12 weeks, depending on the start date and the interns academic schedule.
