Job Summary:Goldman Sachs is seeking motivated and driven individuals to join our Global Investment Research (GIR) division as Summer Analysts. As a Summer Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented team of professionals who provide in-depth analysis and insights across global financial markets. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist research teams in producing detailed reports, including financial models and data analysis.
• Conduct industry and company-specific research, gathering and analyzing financial data to support team recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to create investment strategies and provide insights for clients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions related to macroeconomic trends, market developments, and potential investment opportunities.
• Support in preparing presentations for clients, meetings, and internal strategy discussions.
• Help monitor and track key market events, providing real-time updates and analyses to the team.
• Develop and refine your understanding of market dynamics, financial products, and the investment process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate student with an expected graduation date in 2025 (or as specified by the program).
• Strong academic background, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
• A demonstrated passion for financial markets, investing, and economic analysis.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience:

• Prior internship or work experience in finance, economics, or related fields is advantageous but not required.
• Experience with financial modeling, equity research, or any form of investment analysis is a plus.
• Active participation in relevant student organizations or finance-related projects is beneficial.

Working Hours:

• This is a full-time, 10-week internship, running from June to August.
• Hours will typically align with standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), but may vary depending on the teams needs and deadlines.
