Waste Management is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Construction Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our waste management solutions within the construction industry. You will work closely with contractors, builders, and project managers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance project efficiency and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the construction industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking and industry events.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to understand client needs and propose appropriate waste management solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and services are delivered effectively.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction or waste management sectors.
  • Strong understanding of waste management practices and sustainability issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Experience working with construction companies or within the construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with waste management regulations and environmental compliance is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with a standard working schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility may be required based on client needs and project demands.
