Key Responsibilities

• Collect residential and commercial waste and recyclables on designated routes.
• Operate collection vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Ensure the timely and efficient collection of waste materials.
• Maintain accurate records of waste collected and any incidents that occur during collection.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on collection vehicles and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in the training of new team members and provide support as needed.
• Promote and educate the community on recycling and proper waste disposal practices.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal and public safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance.

Experience

Working Hours

• Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.
• Early morning starts and flexible hours may be required based on operational needs.
