Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across various applications and platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality standards are met from the beginning of the development process.
• Continuously evaluate testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using relevant testing frameworks and tools.
• Conduct training sessions for team members on QA best practices and new testing tools.
• Report on testing progress and results to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year of experience in test automation.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

Working Hours

• Full-time position, with flexible working hours. Expectation to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime during critical project phases.
