Job Summary:The Elite Job is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to clarify or correct any issues related to billing.
• Prepare and review patient bills and statements, addressing any patient inquiries regarding their accounts.
• Assist with the management of patient accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical billing and coding certification program preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance billing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• No prior experience required; however, internships or coursework related to medical billing and coding is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on workload and deadlines.
