Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring all issues are logged and tracked.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to IT processes and support activities.
  • Support software installations, updates, and patches as required.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees, including setting up user accounts and equipment.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments to recommend improvements or upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a professional attitude.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an IT support role or relevant internships is a plus but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues.
  • Exposure to various IT tools and technologies is advantageous.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
  • Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on business needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in using and supporting office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Understanding of IT security principles and practices.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
