HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Janitor / Maintenance Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities during the overnight shift. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms and common areas.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks including but not limited to changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and repairing minor equipment.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or needed repairs to the maintenance supervisor.
• Ensure all cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked and request additional supplies as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down for events and meetings as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar janitorial or maintenance role.
• Experience working the overnight shift is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.
• Overnight shift hours typically from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
• Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required.

• Understanding of safety protocols related to janitorial and maintenance work.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
