HK Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. As a Junior Accountant, you will assist in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting senior accountants in various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank and credit card statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and review invoices, expense reports, and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account adjustments.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and other team members on various accounting projects and tasks.
  • Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience is preferred.
  • Experience with remote work or virtual collaboration tools is a plus.

Working Hours:
