HK Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our remote team. This role is crucial in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. As an Accountant, you will work closely with various departments to maintain financial integrity and compliance while working from the comfort of your home.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payroll transactions.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and provide support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours with core hours of availability between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (local time).
  • Full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
