Job Description
HK Consultancy is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our team remotely. This role is crucial to maintaining our financial health and ensuring that our accounts payable processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and record all supplier invoices in a timely manner.
- Payment Management: Ensure all payments are made within company terms and handle payment discrepancies or issues as they arise.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and statements.
- Vendor Communication: Liaise with vendors regarding billing issues, payment status, and other inquiries.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts payable reports for management review.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Document Management: Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions and related documentation.
- Support: Provide support to the finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or financial role.
- Experience working remotely is a plus but not required.
Working Hours
- Full-time position.
