HK Consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Fresher to join our remote team. As a fresher in software testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Identify and document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, etc.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Basic programming skills (knowledge of languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Experience

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in software testing.
• Prior internship or coursework related to software testing is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.
