The intern will be responsible for collecting and populating spot rates from various shipping lines into an Excel template. Key Responsibilities

• Regularly visit shipping line websites to retrieve spot rates.
• Accurately populate collected data into the provided Excel template.
• Monitor multiple trade lanes (origin-destination pairs) across different shipping lines.
• Ensure data is collected and recorded in a timely manner to maintain up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with team members to cover all shifts and ensure 24/7 operation.
• Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during data collection to the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts to ensure continuous coverage.

Experience

• No prior work experience required, though previous internships or coursework in logistics or data entry would be advantageous.

Working Hours

• This position requires the intern to work in 8-hour shifts.
• The project operates 24/7, so flexibility in working hours is essential.
• Duration of the internship is 1 month, with the possibility of extension to 2 months or longer based on performance and project needs.
