HK Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Employee Relations Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring effective employee relations practices, and promoting a culture of fairness and respect. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Employee Relations Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive employee relations programs that align with the company goals and objectives.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances in a fair and timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Policy Development and Enforcement: Review, update, and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure they are relevant and compliant with current laws and best practices.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and morale, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, promoting best practices and effective communication.
  • Investigation Management: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct, and other sensitive issues.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process by advising on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and other related matters.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and develop strategies to address areas of concern.
  • Compliance: Ensure all employee relations activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on employee relations issues and strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in employee relations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various audiences.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, develop effective solutions, and make sound decisions.
  • Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ethics and Integrity: High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in managing employee relations in large organizations across various sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully resolving workplace conflicts and improving employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective employee relations strategies and programs.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with standard working hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional flexibility required to address urgent employee relations issues outside regular working hours.
