HK Consultancy is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A/CDL Semi-Truck Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. Your professionalism and adherence to safety regulations will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailer combinations.
• Transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure freight as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and driving hours.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other drivers on the road.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Class A/CDL truck driver in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A/CDL Semi-Truck Driver.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in operating various types of trucking equipment and vehicles.
• Knowledge of navigating and route planning using GPS and other tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and handle minor vehicle issues on the road.
