HK Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Animal Care Attendant to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of medications and treatments as directed by veterinary professionals.
• Engage in positive interaction and enrichment activities with animals to promote their mental and physical well-being.
• Assist in the intake and discharge processes for animals, including proper documentation and communication with pet owners.
• Support with basic grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in animal care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with animals, such as in a shelter, veterinary clinic, or pet care facility, is preferred.
• Strong passion for animal welfare and empathy towards animals.
• Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments with care and confidence.
• Excellent observation skills to identify changes in animal behavior or health.
• Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Basic knowledge of animal care and first aid is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in animal care or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with handling various types of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals.

Working Hours:

• This is a part-time position.
