Delta Air Lines is seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on airport facilities and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on airport facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building structures.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance activities.
• Document all maintenance and repair work performed using digital systems and logs.
• Collaborate effectively with other maintenance team members and external contractors when necessary.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations as part of a 24/7 operational team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in related fields preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in an airport or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform strenuous tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an airport or similar environment.

Working Hours:
Full-time position; exact schedule may vary based on operational needs, including rotating shifts.
