As a Data Engineer at HK Consultancy, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse architecture and business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, implement data pipelines, and ensure optimal data delivery architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple external and internal sources into our data warehouse.
• Implement data models, data structures, and schemas across multiple platforms to support business needs.
• Optimize data systems and warehouse performance for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Monitor data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data lifecycle.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data engineering and business intelligence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, designing and implementing data warehouse solutions and ETL processes.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Experience:
