Job Summary:
Amazon is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Associates to join our team in Singapore. This role offers the flexibility to work from home or in the office, providing exceptional support to our customers. You will be the voice of Amazon, ensuring our customers receive outstanding service by addressing their queries, resolving issues, and enhancing their overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution, and expediting correction or adjustment.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Go the extra mile to engage customers and create a positive customer service experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or similar role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling high volumes of inquiries.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position with flexible working hours.
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
- High level of computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
