Position: Compliance Officer

• Location: Malaysia (Open to Malaysian candidates)

Job Summary: HK Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of potential risk and non-compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations to ensure the company remains up-to-date and compliant.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues, complaints, and violations.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience working in compliance, preferably in the financial services or consulting industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance or related field.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, standard office hours.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with Malaysian regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
