Job Title: Junior System Engineer

Job Summary: As a Junior System Engineer at HK Consultancy, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our clients IT systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and other IT systems.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, escalating as necessary to senior engineers.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role or internship is preferred but not required.
