We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming invoices and expense reports promptly and accurately.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues and inquiries.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations.

Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or relevant finance roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to accounts payable.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial transactions.
