Position: Customer Service Associate Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Associate Representative to join our dynamic team at The Cigna Group. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and efficiency
  • Assist customers with enrollment, claims, billing inquiries, and benefit information
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments for resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure prompt and effective problem resolution
  • Continuously strive to enhance the customer experience and exceed service level expectations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor degree preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position; flexible schedule required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of healthcare and insurance industry preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
