Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote HR Assistant to support our Human Resources operations from a home-based environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about HR functions and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-driven setting. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, employee documentation, onboarding processes, and general HR administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation coordination
Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Assist in payroll coordination and attendance tracking
Prepare HR reports, presentations, and internal communications
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Coordinate training sessions and employee engagement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with HR software or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an advantage
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role
Prior experience in remote or virtual work environments is preferred
Freshers with strong HR knowledge and internship experience may also apply
Working Hours
Flexible working hours with a standard 8-hour workday
Monday to Friday schedule (weekends off)
Occasional availability required for virtual meetings across time zones

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
