Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cargo Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations at OR Tambo International Airport. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of cargo shipments. The ideal candidate will assist in receiving, storing, sorting, and dispatching goods while maintaining strict compliance with aviation safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming cargo shipments and verify documentation for accuracy.
Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment.
Sort and organize goods within the warehouse for efficient retrieval.
Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and packaging.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse systems.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure cargo is stored safely and securely.
Follow all airport safety, security, and regulatory procedures.
Collaborate with logistics teams, drivers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or operational issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
