Job Summary

GradeBuzz is seeking a passionate and driven Software Engineer Intern (Full Stack) to join our dynamic team for a 6-month remote internship program. This role is designed for aspiring developers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in building scalable web applications, working across both front-end and back-end technologies. As an intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to real-world projects, and develop technical expertise in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across the full stack.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to implement new features.

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.

Contribute to database design, API development, and system integrations.

Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across devices.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Familiarity with modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Knowledge of back-end development using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies.

Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Exposure to version control systems like Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience

0–1 year of experience (freshers and students are encouraged to apply).

Prior internship, academic projects, or personal projects in web development will be an advantage.

Working Hours

Flexible remote working hours.

Expected commitment: 30–40 hours per week.

Occasional overlap with team hours for meetings and collaboration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus.
