Job Summary
GradeBuzz is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Community Lead to drive engagement, growth, and value delivery across our Telegram and WhatsApp student communities. This role is pivotal in building strong student relationships, fostering meaningful interactions, and ensuring a vibrant, supportive, and informative environment for learners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student success, digital community building, and content-driven engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and moderate multiple Telegram and WhatsApp student groups to ensure active, positive, and productive discussions.
Develop and execute community engagement strategies to increase participation, retention, and satisfaction.
Plan and schedule daily/weekly content including study materials, quizzes, updates, and announcements.
Respond promptly to student queries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring a seamless support experience.
Collaborate with academic, product, and marketing teams to align communication and campaigns.
Analyze engagement metrics and generate insights to improve community performance.
Organize online events such as live sessions, doubt-clearing discussions, and peer-learning activities.
Maintain community guidelines and ensure adherence to respectful and professional communication standards.
Identify and nurture community champions and student leaders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in any discipline (Education, Communication, or Marketing preferred).
Strong understanding of Telegram, WhatsApp, and digital community tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to handle large groups and multitask efficiently.
Basic analytical skills to track engagement and performance metrics.
Creative thinking to design engaging content and activities.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in community management, student engagement, or social media management.
Prior experience in EdTech or student-focused platforms is highly preferred.
Proven track record of managing large online communities successfully.
Working Hours
Full-time role with flexible working hours.
Availability required during peak student activity times, including evenings and occasional weekends.
Remote or hybrid working model depending on company policy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues diplomatically.
High level of empathy and understanding of student needs.
Proactive, self-driven, and highly organized.
Familiarity with engagement tools, bots, and automation is a plus.
