Job Summary

GradeBuzz is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Verbal Ability Expert to develop high-quality English content tailored for competitive exams. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing engaging, exam-oriented material that enhances students verbal reasoning, grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary skills. This role requires a deep understanding of competitive exam patterns, strong command over the English language, and the ability to create content that is both educational and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive English language content for competitive exams such as banking, SSC, CAT, UPSC, and other aptitude-based tests.

Create practice questions, mock tests, reading comprehension passages, vocabulary exercises, and grammar modules.

Analyze previous exam trends and patterns to design relevant and high-quality content.

Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all content produced.

Collaborate with academic and product teams to align content with curriculum goals.

Review and edit existing content to improve quality and effectiveness.

Provide detailed explanations and solutions to questions for better student understanding.

Continuously innovate content formats to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field.

Exceptional command of English grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Strong understanding of competitive exam formats and verbal ability sections.

Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content.

Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital content creation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in content development for competitive exams or EdTech platforms.

Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students in verbal ability is highly preferred.

Experience in question paper setting or exam preparation content creation is an added advantage.

Working Hours

Full-time role with flexible working hours.
