Job Summary
GradeBuzz is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Product UI Designer specializing in EdTech gamification and rapid prototyping. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of education, engagement, and innovation. You will be responsible for crafting intuitive, visually appealing, and interactive user interfaces that enhance learner engagement through gamified experiences.
As a key contributor to our product team, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, and educators to transform ideas into impactful digital learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design user-centric interfaces for web and mobile EdTech platforms.
Develop engaging gamification elements such as badges, leaderboards, rewards, and progress tracking systems.
Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes using modern design tools.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into intuitive UI solutions.
Conduct user research and usability testing to improve product design and engagement.
Maintain design consistency through design systems and style guides.
Continuously iterate designs based on feedback, analytics, and user behavior insights.
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, especially in gamification and digital learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, gamification, and prototyping work.
Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
Experience designing for mobile-first and responsive web applications.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Strong visual design skills including typography, color theory, and layout.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design.
Prior experience in EdTech, gaming, or gamified applications is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in creating interactive prototypes and gamified user flows.
Working Hours
Full-time role (40 hours per week).
Flexible working hours with overlap required for team collaboration.
Remote/Hybrid work options available based on candidate preference.
