Job Summary
GradeBuzz is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with deep expertise in Playwright and Selenium to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
Build scalable and reusable test frameworks for web applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and execution speed.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, TestNG, or JUnit.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, APIs).
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
Proven experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Prior experience in EdTech or SaaS platforms is a plus.
